Want to lose customers? Use LaserShip
Ordered a pair of running shoes. The on-line seller used Lasership which I had never heard of.
The seller sent me a Lasership shipping number and a link to track the shipment. The shipment was initially scanned on 3/9/18 at Groveport, OH a mere 90 miles from my home. Per the link i could expect delivery on 3/12. On 3/14, after not receiving the package, I went back to the link and there was no change from the initial scanning, still at Groveport.
Sent an email using the link (no customer service number) and within a minute I got a canned response that a customer service rep would "investigate" and respond. Just three minutes later I get another email from a customer service rep who used a no reply email address. This said that my package was en route to my local facility and would be delivered from there. This email did have a customer service phone so I called it.
The rep who answered put me on hold for around 5 minutes. He came back and advised that the package was "misdirected" but was now en route to my area and would definitely be delivered "tomorrow." Today when the package did not come I sent another email. I got the same two identical email responses I received yesterday. So I called the number again.
This customer service rep simply reviewed the shipping number and said I needed to call the shipper.
He said it is obvious the package was lost because it had not been scanned every day. I asked why I was told something completely different yesterday and his response was along the lines of, "since I don't know who you talked to yesterday how am I supposed to answer that?"
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
